We’re all counting down to those long-awaited warm spring days, especially since we’ll finally be able to ride our favourite urban two-wheelers to our hearts’ content. We had the great pleasure of testing the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ e-scooter and we’d like to share our review with you. Especially if you’re looking for a new e-scooter for the upcoming spring and summer season!

Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ e-scooter: our verdict
The Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ e-scooter stands out thanks to a few key features. First and foremost, it has a latest-generation motor delivering up to 750W! Why is that impressive? Competing models usually have a 250-500W motor. An e-scooter with this much power will comfortably get you up to 20 km/h in built-up areas.
Tackling any hills along the way won’t be a problem at all. Even when you’re riding with a backpack full of heavy photography gear, for example. The ride is comfortable, and going uphill is completely uncomplicated, with no drop in power.
The Funscooter’s brakes
As for the braking distance, it’s short and firm when you stop aggressively, while calmer, more gradual braking feels very comfortable. The Funscooter has two sets of brakes, drum and electric, which deliver high braking performance.
The wheels on the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+
The Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ owes its exceptional ride comfort to its 10-inch pneumatic wheels and suspension fork. Riding over uneven pavements, hopping up kerbs and even a few innocent attempts at drifting on the smooth floor of an underground car park will be a pleasant experience, free of vibrations and unnecessary effort.
The tyres grip the surface superbly, guaranteeing a smooth, dynamic ride that even allows for a little bit of fun (if you’re up for it!).
A clear display
The clear, bright LCD display shows the current gear, speed, battery level and cruise control status, and even warns you when the temperature is unsuitable for the device.
Is the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ waterproof?
Another advantage is its IPX4 protection rating, which makes the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ splash-resistant. You don’t need to worry about riding through puddles, whether by accident or on purpose. It’s perfectly safe when it gets wet. The same goes for washing it after an energetic ride.
Charging and the battery in the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+
The battery in the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ charges very quickly. Just 7-8h is enough for a full charge. On a single charge, riding an urban route, you can cover as much as 75 km. Of course, the more demanding the route, the faster the battery will drain.
E-scooter test: what did we check?
We looked at the aspects that matter most to every e-scooter user, above all:
Safety – the Funscooter’s set of drum and electric brakes is really effective. The simple design of drum brakes makes them durable and practically trouble-free. The electric brakes, in turn, boost braking performance, and their maintenance isn’t complicated.
Charging time — just 7-8 h, thanks to the Fast Charger. Plug it into the scooter overnight – you get a good night’s sleep and the Funscooter gets a full charge. A win-win as far as we’re concerned.
Motor power – 750 W is impressive – in urban areas we got the motor up to 20 km/h, and on private roads even up to 30 km/h!
Ride comfort – the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ isn’t afraid of hills, uneven surfaces or protruding roots – it’s genuinely comfortable to ride, with no vibrations at all.
Ride dynamics – the scooter reaches its top speed smoothly, but bear in mind that on a more demanding route, that performance and comfort will translate into the battery draining faster.
Extra features – cruise control is a great thing for longer routes, in our view! It lets you maintain a constant speed without having to keep pressing the throttle.
Is the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ only for the city? We checked
We wouldn’t be ourselves if we hadn’t tested what the scooter can do on private roads. And here came a nice surprise – we managed to push the top speed to as much as 30 km/h, and the wind in our hair was definitely noticeable!
A huge plus is being able to ride 75 km on a single charge! The scooter owes this to its 20 Ah lithium-ion battery. On the Funscooter F10 MAX PRO+ you can easily ride the route along the Vistula from Kraków to Tyniec. It’s great for scenic day trips.
Here we have to highlight once again the qualities of the scooter’s pneumatic tyres – they hug the surface perfectly, which translates into a high level of comfort, even when riding along unpaved park paths where a protruding root can appear out of nowhere.
The scooter’s high ride comfort outside built-up areas is also down to the cruise control option, which lets you focus fully on watching your surroundings as you ride, without having to maintain a constant speed manually.
Of course, remember that cruise control should be used in safe conditions, and the rider should have full control of the scooter and be ready to react in the event of a sudden situation.
Security for your e-scooter
There’s more to life than riding your scooter! After all, you also need to secure it properly once it’s parked, for example outside the office or at home.
This is where an anti-theft lock with a built-in alarm to scare off thieves comes in handy. It’s usually fitted to the front wheel and opened with a special key. Locks like these stand up to any kind of damage or splashing, and they effectively put a stop to thieves’ ambitions.
