What is an anti-theft alarm?
The anti-theft alert is a dedicated feature of the notiOne GPS PLUS device that can be activated from the dedicated app. It enables a rapid response in the event that an item protected by the tracker is stolen.

How does the anti-theft alert work?
Inside every notiOne GPS PLUS device there is an accelerometer – a sensor that measures the device’s own movement. The moment the car in which the tracker is placed is started without the owner’s knowledge, the device registers the vibrations through this sensor. The information is sent immediately to the owner’s phone as a notification and an audible alert.
How to switch on the anti-theft alarm
You can conveniently activate the anti-theft alert from the app. Here’s how to do it:
- Open the app and select the device from the list.
- Expand the menu in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Select CONFIGURATION.
- Tick “Notify me when my GPS starts moving”.
Remember that the anti-theft alarm is only available in the notiOne GPS PLUS version.
Why is the anti-theft alarm such an important feature?
Above all, because it gives you real-time visibility of any unwanted interaction with your item and increases your chances of reacting when it’s under threat.
